It’s almost time for The Magalies Adventure, happening this Sunday, November 30th, at the picturesque Galloway Gardens near Magaliesburg.

This isn’t just any ride—it’s a day of thrilling trails, festive fun, and the magic of the Black Horse Brewery Christmas Market!

Whether you’re here for the adrenaline, the vibes, or the craft beer, you’re in for a treat.

All the details you need about registration, race number pick-up, and more are on our website:www.magaliesadventure.co.za — and don’t worry, GPX files will be loaded shortly to keep you on track (literally!).

Race Number Pick-Up Times:

• Wednesday, November 26th from 12:30 to 17:00 at JoziGin (Bryanston, cnr Post House & Main).
• If you can’t make JoziGin because you live too far away or are busy, then come on Sunday, November 30th to Galloway Gardens from 05.30 to 06:00.

Late Entries: Feeling spontaneous, or have a friend who missed the deadline? You can still grab a late entry at JoziGin on Wednesday, or on race day itself. But a little heads-up: spots are limited! Cash is king, so bring some along since we don’t have credit card facilities.

Race Day Highlights

• Start Times: NOTE NEW TIMES FOR 45KM
  • 97km kicks off at 06:30.
  • 65km & 45km start at 06:45 (together).
• Routes:
  • The 97km & 65km are GPS-guided, so be ready to navigate.
  • Shorter routes? Don’t worry—clear markers will guide you every step (or pedal) of the way! Green arrows on white boards and pink stickers will show you the way.
• Water Tables:

• We will have a number of water tables on the route, and we will have ice cold water, coke and a few snacks such as Bar One’s, Jelly Babies, Watermelon and bananas.
• In addition we will have the following water tables:

• 97km – 4 tables – 14km, 34km, 48km & 82km
• 65km – 3 tables – 14km, 34km & 48km
• 45km – 14km & 34km

Festive Fun Awaits

After your ride, dive straight into the festive spirit at the Black Horse Brewery Christmas Market.

Picture this:

• Firstly a nice shower – bring a towel and a change of clothes

• Delicious food, pizzas etc, craft beer, and chilled G&Ts.
• Stalls brimming with unique, handcrafted goodies.
• The perfect chance to kick back and relax after a great ride!

A Few Reminders

• Parking:Please pay attention to this. Black Horse Brewery are having their Christmas Market, and there will be vendors as well as visitors to the market. You will have your own designated parking area. Please follow the signs and obey the marshals.

• Hydration: With temperatures soaring over 30°C, staying hydrated is key. Pack extra water and make good use of the water tables along the way.

This is more than just a race; it’s an experience as well as an Adventure! So look forward to a day packed with fun, festive vibes, and unforgettable routes.
